Laura joined the firm’s government relations team in 2022 and came on as an associate attorney in 2023 after graduating from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. She previously clerked for then-presiding and ICWA Judge Juan Hoyos in Hennepin County Juvenile Division and the Hennepin County Public Defender’s Office.

Prior to entering the legal field, Laura spent nearly a decade as a mental and behavioral health and special education service provider. Laura has centered her career in purpose-driven, collaborative client and community advocacy and carries those values into her practice of law and governments relations.
