Robin joined the firm as a senior attorney in 2019 bringing with her over 18-years’ experience working with tribes and tribal governments. She continues to serve as General Counsel for a tribal government where she provides legal guidance and legal services for leadership and two dozen tribal departments and programs as well as serving as General Counsel for the tribe’s business enterprise branch. Robin organized and implemented the tribe’s district and appellate courts, serving the first 10 years as presenting officer/prosecutor. She also served as legal counsel to the tribe’s tax commission, enrollment committee, NAGPRA committee, and grant review committee in addition to serving 15 years as a gaming commissioner.

Robin has particular expertise in Indian gaming. She was a co-founder of the Oklahoma Tribal Gaming Regulators Association (OTGRA) and helped draft proposed revisions to the federal Minimum Internal Control Standard regulations. She was awarded the Bruce Longhorn Memorial Award from the National Indian Gaming Association and was named Regulator of the Year by the OTGRA. Robin’s comprehensive understanding of and experience with all aspects of tribal governance and business operations allow her to provide the highest quality legal assistance to Indian County.
