Areas of Practice:
Barbara joined the firm in 2015 as an attorney. Before joining JLG, she spent 8 years in the Office of the Solicitor General for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe. She also served as Interim Solicitor General, managing the Department of Justice, the Band’s Legal Aid Department, the tribal police, and the Department of Public Safety.
Barbara has devoted her legal career to Indian law and serving tribes and tribal business entities. Her practice focuses on providing thoughtful counsel and seeking efficient and effective strategies to achieve her clients’ desired outcomes.
